July 17th: National Peach Ice Cream Day

Happy National Peach Ice Cream Day! Peach ice cream is one of the most refreshing ice cream flavors out there. It makes a perfect cone on a hot summer day. I love the peach soft serve ice cream we have at B&F.  A few years ago, my sister brought home a few pints of wine ice cream from Mercer’s, a local ice cream company in Boonville (their ice cream is amazing by the way!) But there was a Peach White Zinfandel and oh my goodness, it was the best ice cream ever! Check it out here!

Ben & Jerry’s have the Peach Cobbler ice cream out there on the shelves…. oh lord have mercy! Peach Ice cream and tasty shortbread pieces, and Willie Nelson!

Here are some pretty good looking recipes to enjoy peach ice cream on a day like today!

Just peach ice cream, champagne and peach liqueur for an ice cream float! I don’t think you need measurements for this one lol.
